Sure, you may be frustrated by Your St*ck, the limiting beliefs you tell yourself or live inside your psyche rent free, oscillating on repeat. But give Your St*ck some grace and compassion for a second.
You may be thinking: Are you kidding!? My St*ck is what is preventing me from reaching my goals and dreams!
While, yes, Your St*ck is holding you back, consider that it is also keeping you SAFE.
Our primitive brains haven’t evolve much since our cave people era. Our brain and nervous system’s primary job is to ultimately alert us to danger and to keep us safe.
But what happens when your thoughts prevent you from reaching your ultimate goals? That’s when it transforms into Your St*ck.
Go ahead and take a moment to thank Your St*ck. Hold a moment of compassion and gratitude to help release Your St*ck:
Practice: Close your eyes and take a few deep breaths to get you into a meditative state. Hold Your St*ck, your current limiting belief that is preventing you from achieving your goals, in your mind’s eye. Witness it without judgement. What form does it take? Is there a visual representation of what Your St*ck looks like? Trust that what ever comes into your mind’s eye is what is meant to show up. Now, with that visual representation of Your St*ck in your mind’s eye, gift Your St*ck grace and compassion. See yourself offering grace and compassion and a big THANK YOU for keeping you safe. What does this gift look like? Visually see the gift in your mind’s eye with as much detail as you can. See Your St*ck accepting your gift. In exchange Your St*ck gifts you something in return. Visualize the gift in your mind’s eye with as much detail as you can. You accept the gift and place it someplace safe within your body or on your person. Visually see in your mind’s eye where you place this gift to keep it safe. Gently open your eyes and reorient yourself to the present moment. Be gentle with yourself for the rest of your day as you’ve just shifted Your St*ck energetically and released unconscious St*ck energy in your body and psyche.
